A self-declaration is a statement made by an individual attesting that all of the information, facts and data mentioned in a document are accurate. A self-declaration does not have to be notarized or witnessed as an affidavit would, but it can be if desired.
A self-declaration is a way to cross-check the information given in a document by the person who wrote it, pledging that everything contained therein is accurate. By giving such assurances, it becomes easier for whoever is reviewing the document to make decisions based on its contents.
A self-declaration can be made either at the bottom of the main document, or The separate document should reference the main document.
