Rescind Job Offer After Background Check
Background checks are done on many organizations before or after they hire someone. The findings of the background checks are used by businesses to either confirm or reject the potential employee’s employment, terminate it, or withdraw the job offer.
A background check usually involves verifying information like the person’s identity, academic qualifications, employment history, court records, medical history, credit reports and references. It may also include checking their home address and driving record.
Here are examples of rescinding job offer letters from employers to candidates after background checks.
